Sporting programs like Ready Steady Go are beneficial to your child’s health, both physically and mentally. When involving your child in sports from a young age you are helping them physically, develop their spacial awareness, balance and coordination.  Sports boost self-esteem, builds confidence and how to be part of a team.  The list of benefits goes on as kids sports lay the foundation of other important life skills like resilience, goal setting, discipline, perseverance, integrity and establish healty habits that lead into adulthood.

Ready Steady Go Classes

Mackay classes are split between four age groups.  Each group builds on development.  The younger classes embrace play-base activities like stretching, running and ball throwing.  With small classes parents are required to assist. As your child gets older there is more emphasis on skills like listening, teamwork, balance, posture, fine motor skills.

• Get Ready classes- 1.5-2.5yrs: 30min play-based classes
• Ready classes – 2.5-3yrs: 45min classes
• Steady classes – 3-4yrs: sports emphasis
• Go classes – 4-6yrs: faster paced classes

Ready Steady Go Fees and Times

Classes for Ready Steady Go Mackay run with the public school term.  Classes are held in the mornings on Mon to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday.  Get Ready classes for 1.5-2.5 is $16.15/class and the other age groups are $19.15/class.
