The Breakwater Mackay set the scene for this joyful wedding over the long weekend. 70 of their closet family and friends gathered to witness the special day. Emotions were high from tears of joy from grandma to pure elation from friends. I am always so honoured to (somewhat) be a fly on the wall to catch these important points in time.
As the celebrant began the ceremony it became evident that these two are soul mates. Meeting as teenagers, the past six years have seen them become engaged, welcome their son and now Mr and Mrs! Their vows were unique and personal, humorous and sweet.
Everything will fall into place and be how it is meant to be. Even the way they set their wedding date… opened a calendar, looked away, and picked a date. It. Was. Perfect. It was clear that their love will Heel all. #IFKYK.
The sun peeked out as we headed out on the The Breakwater Mackay for the first official portraits of the newest Mr & Mrs. Then we dropped down on to Mackay Harbour beach for even more portraits!! I like to think that these 15 minutes of just the newlyweds is incredibly special. To soak up the big moments of the day, remember them, just the two them.
