Mackay is spoilt for choice when it comes to photography locations. Mackay Botanic Gardens is one of the best! Come graduation, the gardens are full of students, dazzling in their formal dresses and suits!
The Mackay graduating class of 2021 are looking more stylish than ever! Sequins and a unmissable blue mustang, this senior session was glamorous! It’s not everyday (well ever actually) that I receive an enquiry with ‘star eyes’ emojis. I loved that Jorja knew what she wanted and trusted me with her senior graduation portraits .
It was a perfect Mackay Spring afternoon for Jorja’s formal on Saturday and from the moment she and her formal partner Lachy arrived in an unmissable blue mustang, I knew she was going to have a gorgeous portrait gallery to celebrate 12 years of schooling.
We started with portrait time with Jorja and Lachy, capturing the ‘must have’ pictures – all the details. Then on to find her beautiful family. They all loved and gushed when they saw her. Her grandparents were adorable and you could feel how much love there was for Jorja.
From there we went to catch up and mingle with the students. Each year I’m blown away with the gorgeous gowns and this year was no different – the guys too, looked very handsome.
Jorja, I hope you had a wonderful night celebrating such an important milestone in your life – finishing 12 years of school! It was a privilege to capture these portraits for you and I hope in years to come you look back fondly on this celebration – CONGRATULATIONS!! Alyce x
