Branding photos are such a powerful way to tell a story, and I loved capturing this session for Jaybird Skincare at studio space at RedHotBlue in Mackay. Their products are a beautiful botanical skincare range made with premium and organic ingredients, and this shoot was all about bringing that natural, clean vibe to life.
For this branding session, I photographed both the founder’s headshots and the products themselves. We went for a light and bright aesthetic that reflected the purity of Jaybird Skincare’s range. The clean studio setting made the perfect backdrop to highlight both the person behind the brand and the products she carefully creates.
One of my favourite parts of this shoot was capturing the behind-the-scenes details. From spooning product into jars to labelling each jar with care, these images tell the story of the passion and precision that goes into every single item. Documenting the process not only shows authenticity, but also gives customers a glimpse into the love behind the brand.
Of course, we also took time to focus on the products themselves. Styled images of the skincare jars displayed on shelves gave a professional, polished look perfect for Jaybird Skincare’s website and social media. High-quality product photography like this builds trust with customers and helps a brand stand out in a busy market.
Branding photos go beyond a simple headshot. They capture the heart of your business and help you connect with your ideal clients. Whether it’s showing your product process, your team, or your workspace, images tell the story of who you are and what you value. For Jaybird Skincare, it was all about highlighting natural, premium, botanical beauty—and we achieved that beautifully with this session.
