You have found the one person you want to share your life with and grow old with, CONGRATULATIONS! Making it official can be a little nerve wracking. Whether your proposal is: walking along the beach, a scenic helicopter flight to a private beach, “Marry me” written in the sand, a champagne picnic, a sunrise/sunset meal for two. The ideas are endless. Here I have some ideas to consider and things to watch out for when planning your proposal on the beach.
Get a planner on board! Having someone that can help you plan and coordinate little details behind the scenes will take an enormous amount of stress off your plate. A planner can help you create your perfect proposal.
Hire a photographer – your photographer will be there to save all the moments, the nerves, tears, joy and love. Your kids and grandkids will love reliving how you two started your life together.
Travelling interstate or abroad to the perfect beach, keep the ring as close to you as possible – this means in your carry on bags! Even if you have a good record of not losing bags through airports, this is not the time to be losing bags. Keep the ring close to you at all times.
Checking the weather, sun & tide times and pre planned events in the week leading up to the big question. You will be a weather expert by the time the ring is on the finger!
There are pros and cons when it comes to proposing on the beach, not that these should deter you, but incase you hadn’t thought of it.
I may be bias, but you will love your proposal on the beach here in the Whitsundays. Stunning turquoise water and silky white sand a match like you and your soulmate. There are so many incredible vendors that will love to help you plan the proposal of your dreams!
Pop Up Picnic companies like Whitty Vibes have licences to set up proposal packages on the beach, be sure you know the regulations in your state/territory. If you are at a resort, include resort staff in your planning as well.
Did you plan your proposal on the beach in the Whitsundays and now moving into wedding plan mode? While you are here check out all inclusive wedding venue Villa Botanica and you can go no wrong on the luxury resort that is Intercontinental Hayman Island. Of course I would love to chat with you all things engagement and weddings as your whitsunday photographer.
