About Villa Botanica
Weddings celebrate and spotlight the romantic and soul-deep connection between two people, so it makes sense for you to desire a romantic location for the wedding of your dreams. This venue was literally created from the very foundations of romance and adoring love, paired with a happily ever after. Ralph Hogan, an admirer of nature’s abundant beauty, designed and created this wedding paradise for the love of his life. As a young child, he sadly experienced his parents’ divorce and the unfortunate trials that stemmed from his mother’s heartbreak.
However, he vowed his future would be different. He would find a beautiful princess, build a castle and marry her. In true fairytale fashion, 25 years later, he saw his beautiful princess, Janet, and he made her a palace just as he vowed. In 2007 they decided their paradise was far too beautiful to keep to themselves and opened the Villa Botanica wedding venue for couples to exchange vows and celebrate their love story. This location is now the most beautiful and exclusive boutique wedding venue in Australia and Queensland.

Whether it’s just the two of you, 80 seated or 100 standing guests, the Villa Botanica wedding venue’s five gorgeous acres of generous waterfront gardens await your love story.
Start your outdoor ceremony by walking down a palm tree-lined mosaic tiled path. Here you will make your stunning bridal entrance before meeting in the hand-carved timber wedding pavilion with an ocean view.
After you exchange heartfelt vows and tie the knot, it’s time for guests to gather and sip cocktails along the Sea Deck while you take photos.
Your guests will then meet at the 30m long Seaside Verandah and see elegantly decorated tables under twinkling fairy lights to enjoy the menu of your choice. Or you can opt for a cocktail-style reception for a more relaxed ambiance. After dinner, the marble ballroom awaits for you to have your first dance as newlyweds before the actual dancing begins.
