In some way I want to give back to the younger people of today, to let them know it’s okay for them to be who they are, to stop and capture this precious time between childhood and adulthood, to stop and think about all the dreams they have and to strive for them.
I can’t be sure if this dream of mine to capture you in beautiful, natural photos that reflect your happiness and give you memories to look back on for years to come will take off, but I will always be here and ready.
“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you” Dr Seuss.
Meet Darcie… she answered one of my calls and I am so happy she did. She was impressive from the start, arrived super early and happily stayed until last light, a natural beauty, and didn’t mind me directing her with poses – I will share some behind the scene images later! We used the Pioneer Promenade for yesterday’s senior session, the glowy sun danced behind Darcie as she embraced being in front of the camera.
Darcie, it was an absolute pleasure to capture this natural version of you, I wish you all the very best, not only in your final senior year of school, but with your netball and work too!! I hope you can look back on this session in years to come and remember that this day was a good day!
Enjoy scrolling through!
P.S. that hot mess with Darcie at the end, yep that’s me! Hi!
Have you found your graduation photographer? If not, let me know and I would love to chat about your photography needs.
