Free entry with gates open: 5:30pm – 8:45pm. Kicking off the Christmas season is Mackay West Rotary who is a dedicated community service organisation, and all funds raised go towards supporting local charities. Santa will be there and available for photos, finishing the night with fireworks at 8:30pm
St Johns Parish Christmas Fair – Walkerston
Saturday 2nd November 2024 at Church & School Grounds, Creek Street, Walkerston
Come along for an enjoyable family night out with gates opening at 6 p.m. Delicious food and drinks, raffles, children’s rides and a visit from Santa!

Saturday 9 Nov 2024 at Victoria Park State School – Hague St & Shakespeare St, Mackay QLD
Kicking off at 4pm with student performances, rides and amusements, food trucks, market stalls, ham wheel, mini cent sale, raffle, dunk tank and bar.

Paxtons Christmas Night Market – PCYC
Friday 22 November. 4pm – 8pm at PCYC Norris Road, Mackay
Paxton’s Night Market is a unique shopping experience quality stalls, live music, food and atmosphere. Enjoy a evening starting or finishing with a nice meal great music and loads of Christmas shopping and you might also get lucky and win a ham.
St Joseph’s Christmas Fair – North Mackay
Saturday 23 November. 12pm-4pm. 4 Canberra Street.
Enjoy live music by Noah Davis Cookson along with yummy food stalls and bar. Lots of rides, raffles, market stalls.
Free Santa Photos – Magpies Sporting Club
Thursday 28 November from 5pm-7pm + Saturday 14 December from 12pm-2pm.
Take the stress out of the annual Santa photos with free Santa photos for all at Magpies. The big man himself will be there on two dates: 5-7pm Thursday 28th November and 12-2pm Saturday 14th December. Capture all the magical memories on your camera or phone. Gold coin donations welcome, all money raised will be donated The Neighbourhood Hub.
